Meet our senior leadership team. Our leadership team is made up of our Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executive – Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chief Executive – People Experiences & Culture, Deputy Chief Executive – Principal and Senior Managers.
Together, they lead the college to achieve our strategic vision. They’re extremely passionate about the role of education, training and skills as drivers of economic development and social justice in North East Wales.
Ann joined the College in April 1993 as a Nursery Nurse. Prior to this, Ann worked as a private nanny. Over the next 12 months Ann successfully became a Nursery Manager who now manages the nursery at Deeside. She has extensive knowledge and experience of childcare development and the nursery has achieved outstanding inspections by ESTYN and CIW over the years.
Having started life working in a farm shop at 17. Matt went on to make a name for himself at Horseradish Catering at Chester racecourse, where he moved through the ranks to become operational lead in 2015. During the next five years, Matt guided a catering management team that welcomed well over a million visitors a year, across multiple locations. Matt joined the college in early 2021. Matt has a vast amount of hospitality experience having managed in settings that include restaurants, student unions, conference centres and hotels.
Lee joined the College in early 2011, as a founding member of the Business Improvement Team. He has gained a range of Business Improvement experience thanks to working across a variety of sectors and businesses in North Wales and the North West of England. This experience has played a key role in the evolution of the College. Lee has also been part of innovation strategies and tactical implementation projects across the College and he is an active member of College’s STEM and Innovation Task Groups.
Jack began his career at Coleg Cambria in 2014 as a Lecturer in Performing Arts. He advanced to become the Curriculum Lead in the Creative Industries department before transitioning into Human Resources, contributing to the Professional Learning team. Jack then progressed onto taking on a managerial position in the Quality team in 2024. With extensive experience and expertise in teaching, learning, and assessment, Jack is deeply committed to fostering quality and excellence in the classroom.

Andrew joined the college in 2001 after studying at college while completing an apprenticeship. He has taken the role of Infrastructure Manager after working as a Network support officer for several years. Andrew has and will continue to lead on many key projects ensuring college infrastructure is kept up to date and secure while leading the support team.
After leaving university, Graeme started working at Coleg Llysfasi as an IT Technician before being promoted to IT Officer a few years later. Following the mergers that created
Coleg Cambria, Graeme became the IT Technology lead for Yale & Bersham Road. Graeme has over 25 years experience in designing, implementing and managing IT
systems for use in the education sector and currently specialises in delivering technology solutions through cloud-based services. He enjoys supporting the staff and students
at Coleg Cambria on their technology journey.
Nigel joined Coleg Cambria in 2013 as Deputy Director for the Computing Technologies area. Prior to this, he worked in Yale College’s Work-based Learning department, where he was responsible for IT Apprenticeships and IT training. Nigel is passionate about all things AI, tech, and skills training

Dawn spent 16 years working in a number of accountancy roles for a national food retailer and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She joined the College as Finance Manager and through college growth, her role developed to be that of Management Accountant. In 2021, Dawn took up the role of Finance Manager at Cambria and is passionate about working across the organisation, providing support to budget holders and ensuring the College delivers its financial objectives.
