Meet our senior leadership team. Our leadership team is made up of our Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executive – Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chief Executive – People Experiences & Culture, Deputy Chief Executive – Principal and Senior Managers.
Together, they lead the college to achieve our strategic vision. They’re extremely passionate about the role of education, training and skills as drivers of economic development and social justice in North East Wales.
Katie joined the College in 2004 and has worked in training and development for over 20 years. She has a wealth of experience within work-based learning and originally came from a private sector company working in learning and development across the UK.
Katie took over the management of the Health & Social Care team in 2016. She is a keen advocate of CPD and recognises staff to ensure they feel valued.
Kate joined the College in 2009 and now manages the work based learning teams in the Food Industry, Landbased industries and Customer Services.
Kate has extensive experience of leadership and management, previously having managed in customer facing corporate businesses.
Kate has a passion for supporting others and champions the support of mental health of staff and learners and a cross college trauma informed practise, achieving a Post Graduate Certificate in Trauma, Attachment and Mental Health in Young People and Adults and being an Ambassador of the BurntChef project, supporting the mental health of staff in the hospitality industry.
Jon joined the College in 2005 as a Catering & Hospitality Assessor. In 2016, Jon was promoted to manage the Work-based provision for Business Services. Jon has extensive experience of leadership and management having managed hotels and kitchen brigades as well as being ex-forces. Jon supports a person-centred approach with all of his staff and employers alike that delivers a high quality tailored approach to courses and relationships.
Jane joined Cambria in 2020 after holding a number of leadership positions in Further Education (FE) sector, including Director of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement for a large college group in the North West and previously as Senior Section Head of MIS and Apprenticeship for a large FE college in the South West. Jane is experienced in developing large accounts, streamlining communication for clients and providing outstanding customer service both internally and externally.
