How To Apply For A College 16-18 Course
You can apply for your chosen course online by clicking the “Apply Now” button. The “Apply Now” button is located within the course information on the relevant course page.
This will take you to the online application form where you will need to create an account (or log into your existing account if you already have one).
Please follow the onscreen instructions and ensure that you complete all sections of the application form. If information is missing or incomplete it will delay your application.
Please ensure that you have read the entry requirements for the course before applying. If you apply for a course that your actual/predicted GCSE grades are too high or low for then this will delay your application.
How To Apply For A Levels
To apply for A levels please choose 3 subjects. All A level students will also study the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales as an additional 4th A-level.
To enrol on to an A level course you are required to have at least 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above including English/Welsh 1st language and mathematics. In addition, you will need to check the subject specific entry requirements in the course profiles below.
If you are expecting to obtain at least 6 A* (8/9) grades at GCSE then you may also wish to consider choosing a further subject in addition to the 3 you have selected.
Should you be expected to achieve at least 5 A*/A (7/9) grades and wish to consider a further subject beyond the 3 you have chosen then a member of staff will contact you to discuss this as part of the application process.
When considering the number of A level subjects you wish to study, please remember that all A level learners are also automatically enrolled onto the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales qualification and this counts as a further A level subject.
When you find the subjects that you want to apply for click on “Add to Shortlist” for each of the subjects, ensuring you have shortlisted the subjects for the correct site (Deeside or Yale). When you have shortlisted the subjects you wish to apply for you can then click on “Apply for These”.
This will then take you to the online application form where you will need to create an account (or log into your existing account if you already have one).
Please follow the onscreen instructions and ensure that you complete all sections of the form. If information is missing or incomplete it will delay your application.

Apply For An Apprenticeship
We’ve Outlined The Process Below In Three Easy Steps
Find vacancies
To find apprenticeship vacancies, there are a number of online resources to check. get prepared
Once you see a vacancy you want to apply for, prepare to submit a high quality application and be ready for a potential interview process, similar to a job interview. Take your time, create an application you're proud of and get someone to review it before you submit.
speak to your employer
Once you're in employment, you can speak to your employer about becoming an apprentice. If they agree, contact Cambria for Business' Employer Engagement Team on 0300 30 30 006 or by email to discuss next steps.

- You must be aged 16 or over
