City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning and Support Services Skills

The Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning and support Services is for candidates who work in a cleaning role and already have knowledge of the basic level.

The Cleaning and Support Services qualifications recognise the skills and knowledge required to clean effectively and safely in a broad range of situations, which
include interiors/exteriors, food, high risk areas and cleaning of soft furnishings and
hard floors.
These qualifications provide learners with recognition that they can do their job effectively and in accordance with National Occupational Standards.

Candidates will be required to display both practical skills and the associated knowledge in order to complete the assessments.
Candidates will also complete their Level 2 Principles of Cleaning as part of their qualification.
This qualification is aimed at individuals who work in a cleaning role in a variety of sectors.
It is suitable for different sized companies where employers expect staff to undertake a range of duties within housekeeping, from cleaning rooms to collecting linen and maintaining a secure working environment.
