Course Overview

The VTCT Level 3 NVQ Award in Indian Head Massage has been specifically designed to give you an understanding of the history of the use of Indian head massages in ancient civilisations and in western complementary therapies. You will learn the practical skills required to enable you to provide relaxing and stress-relieving Indian head massage treatments. You will also develop the knowledge and understanding required to support the practical skills throughout this qualification, such as anatomy and physiology.

There will be a significant amount of home study required to support this course delivery.

Assessment

Internal assessment

Assessment is set, marked and internally quality assured by the centre to demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes clearly. Assessment is sampled by VTCT external quality assurers.

External assessment – There are two exams in this qualification. Externally assessed question papers completed electronically will be set and marked by VTCT
