Course Overview
The course is for those interested in textiles, surface pattern colour and texture.
The course will provide a brief introduction to techniques using a table top hand loom to create experimental sample pieces.

An interest in craft and specifically weave is required – but no previous experience is necessary.
Participants will be able to use work created as part of a portfolio to promote their independent creative work, or for the purposes of applying to higher education. The workshop might be a starting point for a career in textile crafts.
It might also be a stepping stone to possible further in-depth courses for these processes and other similar courses in the future at the college.
