Course Overview
Have you always wanted to learn a foreign language? Then come and join the fun at Coleg Cambria!

The Beginners’ French course is designed for adults with little to no prior knowledge of French and is a 10 week conversational class intended to develop speaking and listening skills.

Each week the sessions will focus on engaging activities that will help you to gain confidence and extend your knowledge, by broadening your vocabulary and understanding.

In addition, you will have access to online resources and presentations to help you at home.

The chosen themes will help you to understand French language and culture and improve your holiday French.

French topics include:
- Talking about yourself and your family
- Talking about your hobbies
- Where you live and places in a town
- Mealtimes and ordering food and drink
- Shopping
- Understanding directions
- Understanding French travel
- Understanding French traditions and culture
No prior French language skills needed.
Developing skills in another language will always prove to be a very useful and a valuable skill to possess across many industries and careers.
