Course Overview

The City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration provides the learner with the flexibility to develop their understanding of a wide range of administrative activities such as information management, event co-ordination and implementing procedures and systems. It also gives them the opportunity to gain essential business skills in decision-making and resource and project management. During the programme learners cover a large range of topics from all aspects of administrative work. They can then build on their achievements to gain greater technical and managerial skills, as well as supervising others and contributing to the wider strategy of their organisation or department.

Level 3 qualifications are generally aimed at administration executives/ocers, administration team leaders, personal assistants or secretaries, including legal or medical secretaries.
A detailed initial assessment will take place. The Assessment Team at Coleg Cambria works closely with businesses, departments, managers and employees to deliver tailored qualifications based on individual work roles.

Support will be available on a structured basis in the workplace and in college on a flexible basis.

Assessor telephone / email support will also be available.
Induction 1 x 3 hour session to include pre-course questionnaire and enrolment. The assessment of units can be tailored to meet the needs of the learner and employer and can be delivered in the workplace.
This qualification provides the learner with opportunities into employment in administrative/supervisory role within any type of organisation and may offer progression onto the Level 4 Diploma and Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
