Course Overview

The City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration enables the learner to develop the knowledge and understanding of how to work and communicate in a business environment and to manage their own work and professional development. They will develop skills in a range of administrative activities including managing information, supporting meetings and document production. The programme will help learners gain practical know-how in providing routine and more complex administrative support.

Level 2 qualifications are generally aimed at administrators, office juniors, receptionists, medical receptionists, junior legal secretaries or junior medical secretaries.
A detailed initial assessment will take place. The Assessment Team at Coleg Cambria works closely with businesses, departments, managers and employees to deliver tailored qualifications based on individual work roles.
Support will be available on a structured basis in the workplace and in college on a flexible basis.
Assessor telephone / email support will also be available.
Induction 1 x 3 hour session to include pre-course questionnaire and enrolment. The assessment of units can be tailored to meet the needs of the learner and employer and can be delivered in the workplace.
Where a learners job role fills the criteria they may be able to progress to Level 3 Business Administration.
