Course Overview

DELIVERY / TUTOR SUPPORT –
This is a part time program, delivered entirely in the workplace with tutor support for assignments and assessments. At Level 3, learners will be expected to identify and implement a range of improvement projects and lead improvement teams which can have a positive impact on Quality, Cost and Delivery measures for their business.

The course typically covers:
-Complying with Statutory regulations and organizational requirements
-Leading effective teams
-Applying workplace organization techniques
-Applying continuous improvement techniques (kaizen)
- Developing visual management systems and standardisation
-Applying flow process analysis
-Carrying out practical problem solving
(At L3 there is an option to customize some areas depending on job role/improvement activity. Other units include SMED, FMEA, TPM etc)
It is expected that learners undertaking this course will have already completed NVQ L2, or currently work in a job role where continuous improvement forms the majority of their daily duties.
There are no examinations or tests.

Each unit will be assessed by a variety of assessment tasks which may include observations, project reports, statistical analysis, practical activities, collection of relevant documentation and written responses to questions.
As well as development within your current role, you could move onto project management training.

There may be an opportunity for project management workshops or bespoke workshops up-front depending on company/learner needs. Inclusion of these would be in addition to the standard course fee’s. Price available on request
