Course Overview
Suitable for supervisors, managers, safety representatives and those aspiring to become safety professionals.
This Unit is part of the full NEBOSH General Certificate qualification and is a level 3 standard (A level). It provides an understanding of workplace hazards and how to control the risks from them.
Unit NG1 Syllabus Content.
Element 1: Why we should manage workplace health and safety.
Element 2: How health and safety management systems work and what they look like.
Element 3: Managing risk – understanding people and processes.
Element 4: Health and safety monitoring and measuring.

At the end of this unit, candidates will complete a digital 24 hour open book exam. This can be done at home or at work.
There are no formal entry requirements but workplace experiences will help as this a professional qualification.
