Course Overview
This qualification is achieved by completion of a unitized workbook. A 3.5 hour taught session is delivered prior to an online exam.

Completion of the workbook and exam pass are required for achievement.

The course covers:
-Understanding health and safety in an industrial environment
-Understanding how to communicate in an industrial environment
-Understanding working effectively in an industrial environment
-Understanding working relationships in an industrial environment
-Understanding rights and responsibilities in an industrial environment
There is an end online multi-choice exam.
Attendance on the training sessions is required.
Completion of unit workbook.
There are no entry requirements. This award is ideal if you are in a working environment. You may already have some knowledge and basic skills in the industry. You want to increase your skills and knowledge of the processes involved to improve your career prospects or move on to further study.
As well as development within your current role, this can also allow you to move onto an appropriate NVQ L2, L3 or L4.
