Course Overview
This academic and practical course will help you gain skills in a variety of Engineering fields.
You will also gain skills in Engineering Measurements & Calculations and Health & Safety. This course will provide you with the theory and knowledge that underpins the practical competencies. This course follows the BTEC L3 and City and Guilds Diploma in Engineering Level 2 and all students will need to complete all of the following units for full achievement.

This practical and theory based course involves the skills and knowledge needed to do the job, ability to organise work and identify and prevent problems.

5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English Language/Welsh (1st Language), Science and Maths (Higher Tier Maths beneficial).
We will also accept successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification with GCSE Maths and English Language/Welsh (1st Language) at grade C/4 or above.
To be eligible for entry on the programme, learners must be aged 16 – 24 on the 31 August.
At Coleg Cambria we would encourage you to do the very best that you can in your exams. The better your grades the more options you will have, and may result in you gaining entry onto a higher level course.
