Course Overview
Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy at Yale offers you the opportunity to specialise in your chosen career route of General Beauty or Spa.
An example of some of the units that you will study consist of:
Anatomy and physiology
Body massage
Indian Head massage
Hot stone massage
Facial Electrical Treatments
Awareness of Skin Cancer for non-healthcare Professionals
(Please note these units are subject to change)
Learners will be completing regular work experience sessions in our state-of-the-art Beauty salon and Spa whilst studying their qualifications. Developing Employability skills is a fundamental aspect of this course
There is a strong expectation that students should study independently between the timetabled sessions.
In addition to the Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, the learning area programme consists of the following compulsory elements to the course:
● Essential Skills Wales training and assessments
● Development of Welsh language skills
● Development of Literacy and Numeracy skills
● All learners must complete a Work Placement
Please note that your timetable will include some evening sessions. Dates will be provided by your tutor on Induction.

Successful completion of Level 2 Beauty Therapy learning area program and a pass or above in Essential Skills/ GCSE qualifications
