Course Overview
This foundation degree in Childhood Studies is delivered by Coleg Cambria, in partnership with Aberystwyth University. Throughout the foundation degree, you will explore a diverse range of areas that are pivotal to children’s lives and be equipped with the skills and expertise necessary to work in a range of child-related professions. The foundation degree will provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding, along with critical and evaluative skills that employers are looking for.
This programme is delivered on one full day of face-to-face teaching per week (delivery day TBC).
In both years of the foundation degree, there are opportunities to undertake placements in a childcare or education setting.
