Course Overview

Learning Outcomes

1. Be able to create a 3D model of an engineering component
2. Be able to produce a manufacturing drawing of an engineering component
3. Be able to use a computer to produce a suitable program to enable the production of a component on a CNC milling machine and/or lathe
4. Be able to manufacture a standard component using the appropriate machine tool (CNC milling machine and/or lathe)
5. Be able to transfer a program to a CNC milling machine and/or lathe
6. Be able to setup a CNC milling machine and/or lathe

*Night courses will require a sufficient number of learners to run. Please register to show interest for a desired course.
End of year written test and a practical assignment.
