Course Overview
A City and Guilds programme for those who wish to build their skills from level 1 up to level 2.
Students will learn about safe welding with the addition of destructive testing of welds, carrying out the following:
● Set up welding sets correctly
● Weld joints together
● Destructively test welds using the nick break, macroscopic and bend test methods
● Identify weld defects

Must have an aptitude to understand and carry out practical work.

Opportunities to work in the welding trade with this knowledge and progression to Level 3.
