“Having originally studied A-Levels at the college I was looking for a change in direction and decided to do a Level 2 Fitness Instructor course. After a year of studying I found that I really enjoyed it.

From the level 2 course I started working at Energie Fitness and during that time I also decided to undertake my FdSc Sports Coaching degree, whilst also studying for a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification. This worked for me because I could help others understand how to achieve their fitness goals more efficiently.

Once I have completed my FdSc Sports Coaching I am going to study at a BSc in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Chester. I am looking forward to this as it’ll develop my knowledge further and also allow me to focus on a different area of the industry, that being strength and conditioning and hopefully focusing on MMA.

However,  I don’t want to stop learning and therefore hope to eventually gain a MRes in Sports and Exercise Sciences.”
