Why Choose An Apprenticeship?

Kickstart your career with an apprenticeship and earn as you learn.

Across North Wales and beyond, companies are recruiting for apprenticeships and training people in the skills they need to succeed in their career.

As an apprentice you will earn whilst you learn, gaining skills, knowledge, experience and recognised qualifications along the way. Whether you’re aged between 16 and 19 or 20 and over, a range of apprenticeship options may be available to you.

An Apprenticeship is one of the most popular ways to get into the hairdressing and barbering industry.

Apprentices will spend time at our purpose built training salons at our Yale or Deeside site and will learn the core knowledge needed to become a barber or hairdresser.

Apprentices will also be assessed in the workplace by our industry served assessing teams.

Learners in this industry will need to be friendly, creative and be able to stand for longer periods of time while cutting hair.
