Course Overview
The VTCT Skills Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Nail and Lash Services is a substantial vocational qualification that will confirm your competence as a Nail and Lash Technician.
The programme is delivered in a real salon environment and provides you with the opportunity to learn nail technology and lash skills, whilst working on real clients. It is important for you to have the opportunity to learn in a real working environment, particularly because this qualification leads to employment in such a client-centred and service orientated sector.
Developing Employability skills is a fundamental aspect of this course.
There is a strong expectation that students should study independently between the timetabled sessions.
In addition to the Level 3 Nail and Lash Services qualification, the learning area programme consists of the following compulsory elements to the course:
Development of Welsh Language skills
Development of Literacy and Numeracy skills
Please note that your timetable may include some evening sessions. Dates will be provided by your tutor on Induction.

Career opportunities as a Nail Technician exist in a variety of contexts, including:
– Working in commercial nail and beauty
– Working in a retail concession / nail bar
