Course Overview
A City and Guilds programme for: those who wish to learn about the basics of MIG welding
Students will learn about the safe welding processes used in the Welding industry and how to carry out the following:
• Set up welding sets correctly
• Learn basic weld joints
• Identify defects
• Make adjustments to welding sets
• Use correct PPE and eye wear

Must have an aptitude to understand and carry out practical work
1. Underpinning knowledge to support basic TIG welding
