Ready to take center stage? This innovative programme uses a "Repertory Theatre Company" model to give you a full, hands-on experience in both the artistic and technical sides of the industry. Whether you want to be under the spotlight or master the magic behind the scenes, you will develop the professional skills needed to launch an exciting career in the creative arts.
What You’ll Learn
You can choose to study this course as a one-year Diploma or stay for a second year to complete the full Extended Diploma. You will work on live productions, including plays, musicals, and music gigs, while collaborating with industry professionals.
On the artistic side, you’ll develop skills in:
- Dance and Drama: Perfect your movement and acting techniques.
- Singing and Musical Theatre: Build your vocal strength and performance confidence.
On the technical side, you’ll gain expertise in:

5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English Language/Welsh (1st Language) OR Successful completion of a relevant Level 2 programme which must include achievement of numeracy and literacy.
Year 1 (Diploma): You will complete eight units. Your final grade is based on Unit 8, a collaborative performance project where you can show off everything you’ve learned.
Year 2 (Extended Diploma): You will complete four extra units (9–12). Your overall grade comes from Unit 12, an extended project that is checked by both your tutors and outside experts.
Grading: Projects are graded as Pass, Merit, or Distinction.
